Chief Warrant Officer (CW2), U.S. Army (Retired), Eduardo C. Chavarria hails from Portage, Indiana, and currently resides in Cedar Park, Texas. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2012.
CW2 Chavarria began his military career as an enlisted Soldier with the 16th Military Police Brigade, 428th Military Police Company, deploying in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II in 2004. In 2005, he transferred to the U.S. Army South (USARSO) as a reservist, serving as G3 Operations Sergeant.
In 2006, he joined the Texas National Guard and attended the Army Initial Entry Rotary Wing (IERW) training at Fort Rucker, Alabama, completing SERE training as well. Commissioned as a Warrant Officer, he was promoted to CW2 and assigned to the 1-149th Aviation Attack Reconnaissance Battalion as a Tactical Operations (TACOPS) Officer, later serving with B Company, 1-114th Assault Support Battalion (ASSB).
Throughout his career, Chief Chavarria held key leadership and operational roles, including Team Leader with the 16th MP Brigade in Iraq (2004), G3 Operations Sergeant with USARSO (2005), and Platoon Leader/Pilot with B Company, 1-114th ASSB at Austin Bergstrom Airport, Texas. He concluded his distinguished service with the Texas National Guard at Ellington Field, Texas.
