Captain Mi Sou Gray resides in Jacksonville, Florida with her husband and two sons. Captain Gray enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in May 2001 at Lackland AFB, Texas then received technical training at Keesler AFB, Mississippi to become an Information Manager. Her first assignment was to NAVSCOLEOD at Eglin AFB, Florida. She then completed Officer Training School in Maxwell AFB, Alabama and received her commission in October 2003. Upon completion of technical school, she became a Communications Officer, then later a Cyberspace Operations Officer. Captain Gray was assigned to Bolling AFB, DC. She then completed a special duty assignment as Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies (Air Force ROTC Instructor) at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA. After 11 years of service, Captain Gray left active duty and became an IT Project Manager, PMO Manager and Infrastructure Manager at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. She then became the Chief Information Officer for the South Carolina Department of Health & Environmental Control. She is currently an Executive Partner with Gartner, Inc., providing executive coaching and advisory services to clients in State and Local Governments across the eastern half of the United States. She is also the Global Co-Chair for the Asians and Pacific Islanders at Gartner Employee Resource Group.
