Command Sergeant Major Ronald K. Graves is a native of Green, Ohio and currently resides in East Canton, Ohio. CSM Graves military service spans from 1987 through 2016. He served in a multitude of leadership and staff assignments culminating as the Command Sergeant Major for the 1-13th Aviation Regiment. His deployments include the Balkans, Afghanistan, and Iraq. CSM Graves duty assignments include four duty locations in Europe, Hawaii, Ft. Bliss, TX, and Ft. Novosel, AL.
CSM Graves has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science-Aviation Technology. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy resident course.
CSM awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star (2 awards), Meritorious Service Medal (3 awards), Army Commendation Medal (5 awards), Army Master Aviation Badge, German Bundeswehr Schutzenschnur Marksmanship Award in Gold, and the German Bundeswehr Armed Forces Badge for Military Achievement in Gold. He is also the recipient of the Order of Saint Michael Bronze Medal and is a member of the prestigious SGT Audie Murphy Club.
