Lieutenant Ronrico Smith

Rico joined Combat Connect’s Board of Directors in November of 2021 and he is a strong advocate for military veterans and their families. His background includes board level experience in the healthcare and military industries and he has well connected government relations with elected federal and state officials. Rico serves as a congressional veterans advisor for U.S. Congressman Gus Bilirakis, and currently sits on the Hillsborough County Hospital Authority Board. Rico joined the United States Air Force Reserves in January 2016 and currently serves as a second lieutenant at 927 ARW, MacDill AFB. On the civilian side, Rico has experience as a medical field engineer and worked at Tampa General Hospital as a Clinical Engineer
